Typical Cultures of Seribu Island to Be Developed

Seribu Islands Regency Administration is developing the typical culture of the area. The improvement of art and culture competence to students becomes the main priority.

We want to raise Seribu Islands typical cultures such as dance, music, etc

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo stated, every Saturday and Sunday, Junior and Senior High School students are trained by musical teacher to improve their art competence.

"We want to raise Seribu Islands typical cultures such as dance, music, etc," he stated, Wednesday (10/14).

Seribu Islands Regency Starts to Socialize Economy Census

According to him, the Tourism and Cultural Sub-Department needs to hire more art teachers for the students. Thus they could be actively involved in every event. "So they are not only competed but their potential also digged and given a chance to perform in every event," he expressed.

Previously, there were 2 competitions held, they were regional nuanced dance, choir, vocal group, and musical poetry competition. The competition was participated by 1,058 students ranging from Elementary School, Junior, and Senior High School Students.
